I have more than 20 years of translation, with particular concern about linguistic aspects of the Arabic language and culture. I have been a translator for Syria's government department since 1998. Also, I worked for UN Organizations in Syria then, translating agreements, work plans, and project documents. After that, I left Syria for Saudi Arabia and consequently left my job. I was offered the position of Arabic and Cultural Instructor for nonnative speakers, which, in turn, inflamed my passion for my mother tongue and started to look at it from an analytical point of view. However, after the spread of coronavirus, my old love for translation came up. So, I started looking for translation opportunities. I want to start again with a rewarding project!

I have worked around 12 years in localization field as a full-time and freelancer translator, so I have a deep knowledge of what should I do in my profession; in translation I have worked in most known fields “Legal, Marketing, Finance, Medical, Automotive, Technical, Mobile Phones, Sweets, Cosmetics and more”. I have proceeded with more than 4,000,000 words in these fields. I have a very good knowledge of Microsoft office and CAT tools as well as I have worked as instructor for freelancers on how they can use CAT tools and I’m always keen to be updated with new CAT tools.
