I have more than 20 years of translation, with particular concern about linguistic aspects of the Arabic language and culture. I have been a translator for Syria's government department since 1998. Also, I worked for UN Organizations in Syria then, translating agreements, work plans, and project documents. After that, I left Syria for Saudi Arabia and consequently left my job. I was offered the position of Arabic and Cultural Instructor for nonnative speakers, which, in turn, inflamed my passion for my mother tongue and started to look at it from an analytical point of view. However, after the spread of coronavirus, my old love for translation came up. So, I started looking for translation opportunities. I want to start again with a rewarding project!

I have a Master degree in translation at Fahd school of translation. I am an Arabic native speaker, and I also master English and French. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at Abdelmalek Essaadi University and my thesis is about the translation of zoological terms from Arabic into English in the classical Arabic dictionary 'Lisan Al-Arab' by Ibn Mandur. I am an AS+C International Certified Translator according to EN 15038 / International Certified Interpreter according to OENORM D 1202. I am a certified Egyptian translator who had had her elementary, intermediate and high school education in a British school( holding I.G.C.S.E),and was graduated at faculty of Arts , Cairo university , Egypt. Holding a bachelor degree with a good grade(2 Bachelor Degrees from faculty of tourism and hotels and faculty of arts and linguistics) and succeeded in maintaining high grades in all the translation- related subjects along with other post graduate specialized translation diplomas , I had successfully joined the Egyptian Translators Association ( Egyta ), the most reputable translation association in Egypt.At present,I am obtaining a master of arts in linguistics and translation from Ain Shams university.
