I am a 25 y.o student from the University of Copenhagen. I have worked with translating for the last 2 years. Among other things I have been working with metadata translation, subtitling translation and product data translation.

I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in molecular biology.

NB: Due to increased demand I have to raise my per word rates from the 1st of May 2019 and decline all projects under a 100 words. I do both copywriting, translations and editing of everything from product descriptions, sales texts and material, fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, articles and sponsored content, subtitles, academic papers and articles. As a copywriter and editor my focus is always equally on grammar and rhetorics, meaning you will always get high quality, spellchecked texts with focus on the best way of getting your point across to the right audiences and target groups. Danish is my mother tongue and with an MA in Comparative Literature and Creative Writing I have a uniquely tuned academic eye for Danish grammar, rhetoric, proverbs and sayings as well as knowledge and understanding of foreign languages and cultural references, as I understand and read both English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish and Norwegian literature.

I have worked as freelance a translator and interpreter with the languages English, German, Swedish, Spanish and Portuguese to my native language, Danish, since early 2015.

I have 10 years' experience in writing and translation services for a wide range of industries, mainly The European Union, IT, websites, travel, and subtitling in the language combination English-Danish. I have also managed translation projects within app technology and for NGOs and completed various SEO training sessions from industry experts specializing in international SEO. Added to the above-mentioned experiences was the enriching language learning path and cultural insights during my 5 year's study and work period in Spain where I became proficient in Spanish. In January 2018 I co-founded Localised Web – an agency that today offers translation in 180+ language combinations and international SEO for a number of languages. The agency offers language services for various sectors and subject fields with a special focus on localization of digital media such as websites, apps, devices, videos, and software.

I have done pretty much any type of translation job from short easy pieces to academic work and transla-tion of technical information. I am right now working as a freelancer, as I am comfortable with the flexible and everchanging nature of working with different clients on different tasks. I have lived abroad in Oman and Afghanistan as a journalist and public information officer. I have also worked with large international organizations and enterprises translating between Danish and English.
