I am a graduate of the Parisian school ISIT (Institute of Intercultural Management and Communication). Most of my experience has been with journalistic and administrative associations. I already had to carry out translations while respecting strict deadlines. For example, I assisted a group of translators in translating and proofreading newsletters and articles from French into English and from English into French, the deadlines for the newsletters being the same. Similarly, I have worked as a freelance translator and have proven capable of dealing quickly with orders with short deadlines occurring during evenings or week-ends. My most recent job as a data entry contributor has taught me to look quickly and efficiently for specific information and to determine by myself how valid a given source is. From 1990 to 2003, I worked mainly as programmer, using various languages such as Fortran, Pascal, C, Visual Basic, SQL, Javascript and Perl and as system administrator, setting computers and networks and familiar with UNIX, and most of Windows OS and Mac OS versions. - From 2001 to 2010, I worked as French translator in an in-house translation department, translating over 7 millions words. This included company literature, magazines, services brochures, finance manuals, computers manuals, Web sites, voice over scripts and subtitles. - From 2011 to 2015, I became a Translation System Manager, implementing the SDL WorldServer solution in my department, setting up the software including workflows and filters, writing training material for the translators and translation manager and getting the system in used.
