I am an Arabic native-speaking. I spent several years in technical services. With my education level (engineering school) and my professional experience, I can easily translate between different languages (Arabic, French, and English), especially in the technical and scientific fields (IT, Engineering, Building, Energy, etc.).

I'm a French native speaker from Brussels, Belgium (born in 1981). I live in the US since 1994 and I'm working as a Translator/Proofreader -French (France and Belgium), English (UK/US), Spanish (Spain/Latin America/US), some Italian to English (2007-present) and French, and Consecutive Interpreter - French, English, Spanish (2009-present) - currently in NY. For certain advanced/expert translation, I'm more comfortable translating into English. I am building experience step by step since 2018, finding new clients and new projects. I have worked on various projects since I graduated (from small to big documents) and with two main language pairs (Chinese to French, English to French), but sometimes accepted a project in Chinese to English. I used to work as researcher in biology. I did my PhD in Paris, followed by a three year postdoc in Germany. Since June 2017, I'm trying to switch career to a language related one. My 6 years experience in an academic setting provided me with expertise not only in theoretical and experimental biology, programming and office software, but also in writing and proofreading scientific articles in both English and French.

I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.
