My name Ulrich DOUO, I am a qualified translator with a university degree in English, my native language is French (I am from Côte d'Ivoire but living in Ghana - Africa) and I have been working as a freelance translator for the past 10 years. Having specialized in the areas of legal, economic and technical texts, I have gathered substantial experience in these fields. I am very flexible in terms of working hours and workload because I am prepared to work late and on weekends in case of urgent projects. I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).
