Welcome to my profile. I am a German native speaker from Austria and fluent in English. I like to translate and improve my language skills. I can translate from English to German and vice versa. I give a lot of attention to my translations and the given deadlines. You can contact me at any time.

I have been working as a translator for a number of international agencies and online platforms for more than 9 years now. In addition, I worked as a teacher of French, English and German for about 13 years, preparing students for their A-Levels. I hold an M.A. in English, French and Literature and completed my studies at the University of Osnabrück in December 2011. During my studies, I spent two academic years abroad, namely in Angers (France) and in Montréal (Québec, Canada) and have been to the US a number of times over the years as well. Starting out as an interpreter for a local translation agency in 2013, I have been expanding my collaboration with a number of international agencies and online platforms ever since and completed countless translations for major international companies and SMEs from all over the world.

I am a fully bilingual (German < > English), semi-retired university instructor and translator with excellent written and verbal skills in both languages (30+ years of language teaching experience and translation). I am a native German and a professional translator for 22 years. During this time I specialized in technical, medical, legal, IT and website translations. Over the past years, I have also translated a couple of books (novels) for both well-known international authors and emerging writers.
