After graduating in Specialized Translation from Italy's Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, I spent several years working as a translator, interpreter, editor and language consultant for an NGO sponsoring medical and environmental research. I am now working as a freelance translator, editor, proofreader and language consultant. My clients include not-for-profit organizations, publishing houses and LSPs. I specialize in environmental issues, agriculture, agricultural technology, food & drink, medical texts and research (especially nutrition and endocrinology), botany, biology, cosmetics, and international organizations. I am a professional translator. Native Italian speaker. I graduated from the University of Florence (Italy) in 2016 and have worked in the translation industry since then. I specialize in legal translation and I am a certified translator of the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa, reg. no. 437. I'm a young Italian freelance translator with experience in technical translation. I am a professionally-qualified EN-IT, PT-IT and RU-IT translator that has had excellent feedback. I hold a BA in Intercultural and linguistic mediation from Bologna University and have experience in translating texts in a variety of specialized domains, including technical, IT, commercial and medical and I also have experience with MTPE. My previous freelance translator experience makes me punctual and productivity oriented, and I can work with short deadlines as well.

I am a research doctor in Slavic studies and Ural-Altaic philology. Member of AIS (Italian Slavists Association). Native languages: Italian and Russian. I've been working as a freelance translator since 2004, therefore I can deem myself quite skilled in such a field. Being a highly responsible and qualified linguist, I firmly believe that any translated text has to flow and fit the culture of the language as well as the target audience it is written and translated for. Despite the initial humanistic background, over the years of my activity as a freelancer I have developed a profound competence in other fields (finance, technology, e-commerce, medicine, legal and bureaucratic sector).

I love my job and I do it with accuracy

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. I am able to translate very technical texts, like instruction manuals for X-ray inspection systems, but also to use my creative side to produce translations of content marketing articles.

I'm an Italian native speaker with a MA in Philology and Ancient History, with expertise in translation from ancient languages (i.e. Ancient Greek and Latin) and modern languages (English, German and French). I'm passionate about ancient literature, linguistics, online communication, transcreation and web content editing, which are also my working fields. I devote myself to my projects and to Your needs, helping You and Your brand to stand out and fluently communicate with foreign clients. Although I have a humanistic perspective and education, I'm specialized in technical translation.

I am an enthusiastic EN>IT, IT>EN, DE>IT, IT>DE freelance translator. I've also had work experience in teaching and costumer care. I have studied Tourism in high school and then decided to study Foreign Languages (German and English) in college, where I also specialized in Politics and International Relations. I can work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines. I am a curious person with many different interests so I have some knowledge of different fields.
