I am Romanian and Italian and I have studied English and Spanish at the University oy Pisa and University of Bologna. I have also lived, studied and worked abroad in 2009-2010 in Valencia with the Erasmus Programme at the University of Valencia.

I am a freelance Software/Web Developer and English to Italian Translator. I have translated a wide range of different subjects, including fiction (mainly sci-fi novels), technical texts (mainly IT and electronics), marketing items, company policies and internal memos, websites, etc. I also have about 3 years experience in simultaneous interpretation (from English to Italian) in public events. I perfected my English while living in Florida (3 years) and in Denmark (1 year), and regularly doing translation jobs in addition to my main software/web developer job.

Bilingual Italian-German, I was defined a walking cat-tool by many colleagues. I speak English, German,Spanish, Portuguese,Dutch and of course Italian fluently, plus Arabic and French. What I adore most about languages, is that they allow you to define yourself in many ways and never miss a word to describe feelings and experiences. I hold a BA in Intercultural and linguistic mediation from Bologna University and have experience in translating texts in a variety of specialized domains, including technical, IT, commercial and medical and I also have experience with MTPE. My previous freelance translator experience makes me punctual and productivity oriented, and I can work with short deadlines as well.
