I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.

I am a freelance translator based in Milan. During my university years I have collaborated with many translation agencies, and now I am starting my freelance business. I have graduated with full marks in Linguistic and cultural mediation in 2019, with a thesis on the translation of a french user guide about e-agriculture. I have attended courses on literary translation, specialized translation, interpreting - chuchotage, conference interpreting and consecutive interpreting. I have done traineeships in 3 different LSP based in Milan, and I worked in each one during 3 months. I have improved my hard skills and I have gained some important soft skills - as teamwork, problem-solving and lateral thinking. I have translated more than 15'000 in a range of subjects: general, agriculture, cosmetics and many others.

Bilingual Italian-German, I was defined a walking cat-tool by many colleagues. I speak English, German,Spanish, Portuguese,Dutch and of course Italian fluently, plus Arabic and French. What I adore most about languages, is that they allow you to define yourself in many ways and never miss a word to describe feelings and experiences. I'm a linguistics-enthusiast italian guy who completed his bachelor degree in translation at the University of Genoa, Italy. The languages I have studied are English and Russian, but I can also speak a little Spanish and a little Polish. I truly love experiencing and analyzing foreign cultures, reason why I have spent a considerable amount of time abroad considering my young age: I have lived in Russia for 1 month, in Poland for 5 months and in Australia for 15 months.
