Hello! I am a Brazilian freelance translator/localizer (English/Portuguese-BR), proofreader and editor. My first translation job as a freelancer was in 2013 and I started working as a full-time freelance translator in 2017. In the last three years, I have been providing translating, subtitling, copywriting and proofreading services for several clients, such as TransPerfect Translations and Trivago. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication, a Specialization in Editorial Projects and a Master’s degree in Literary and Cultural Studies. I also hold a Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) certificate. I have a deep knowledge of Portuguese grammar. Although I have been living in Europe for the last 5 years, Brazilian Portuguese is my native language and the variant I work mainly with.

Grew up in England to Brazilian parents in a bilingual home, is a highly experienced interpreter with over 400 days in the booth, and has interpreted at the highest levels for fortune 500 CEOs, governors, mayors, and Royalty. 95% of my work is simultaneous interpreting and of that 90% highly technical. I'm a System Engineer who loves languages and live in Brazil, I've worked as translator a few times, it's not my main profession but I certanly take care about the quality of my translations because of my love for right speaking and writing.

A self-taught English speaker in love with games, technology, and literature. I'm an undergraduate in the Linguistics areas, with a research published concerning translation studies.
