My name is Geraldo, a handsome (according to my wife), smart and experienced Brazilian translator (see attached CV), living and working in Minsk (!, yes, Minsk!), and, of course, looking to collaborate with you.
Kindly take a look at my CV, think about all the good jazz bands I can suggest you to listen to when the tight deadlines are choking us, and let me know about your needs.
Together, I'm pretty sure we can establish a very positive and constructive professional partnership.
Geraldo Teixeira Jr
My name is Valber dos Santos, I am from Brazil and 32 years old. I started to develop my linguistic skills when I had been for six months to study English in the United Kingdom, in 2006.
After my season in the UK, I had been in Morocco, North Africa, for 2 years doing part of a volunteer internship in the NGO Across Maroc and because of this I also could learn French. During my time in North Africa, I had part time freelance jobs as an interpreter because there were loads of tourist groups from Portugal to Morocco and it was the way to pay for my staying there.
I went back to Brazil in October/2008 because I wanted to build up my professional skills and I actually have a nursing technician certificate by Cruz Vermelha Brasileira (Brazilian Red Cross). I am finishing a geography teacher degree by Universidade estadual Vale do Acaraú and a bachelor degree in translation(English and French) by Federal University of Paraíba next December. I already have a professional experience as a translator by EXTRAD Project in the University. I had to translate different texts for the academic community in the University and I actually am at a Translation Competence Research Group by Federal University of Paraíba.
I have a degree in Human Resources Management, I am a book author, blogger, YouTuber, have a podcast, musician and composer, teacher, proofreader, translator, photographer, and some other things, always learning.
I am an experienced Portuguese translator and localization linguist who has been working in the most diverse areas of the business, as you can see from the attached CV (portfolio). I am highly proficient in the English language, having completed my Master’s studies in the United Kingdom, as well as passionate about the art of translation. I am familiar with the CAT tools Wordfast, MemoQ, SDL Trados and Passolo. You can expect a committed and punctual partner, capable of translating quickly and accurately, thoroughly revising his work in order to guarantee its quality. I am always eager to participate in new projects and to represent his mother language in the best way possible.

I wish to apply for any available vacancy as Portuguese or Spanish translator. I'm native in Portuguese, having a university degree in Portuguese/English and a master in Portuguese /Spanish. During the past 8 years I have done translation jobs either to private or public institutions.
Currently, I'm teaching in Portugal, but available to work in any project around the world. I wish to make translations part of my everyday routine, instead of being a side-job occupation. So, if in the future you have any kind of work matching my language expertise, feel free to contact me. I'm also available to do any kind of test.
I hope we can work together in the future. In case you need any further information, please contact me.
Thank you for your time.
Hello! My name is Júlia and I'm an ENG-PTBR translator.
My translations are manually done by me, never through any sort of machine translations and they are also proofread and revised before turned in. I have worked with an assorted number of online and software CAT tools and have basic knowledge of coding and I'm a fast learner with new technologies and software.
My goal while translating and revising is for the text to seem localized, I always try to make the end result flow easily on the reader's eyes. I adapt the text (when needed) so it doesn't look "chunky" or "automated", it should always look like someone wrote it and not a translation bot.
I am very motivated and passionate about translating. I believe localizing and making sure the right message is delivered is always very fun and important. I value my clients and always aim for their satisfaction. My schedule is very flexible and I'm very committed to my deadlines.
Thank you in advance!
Hello there! I'm Gustavo - nice to meet you! I'm an undergrad currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Portuguese/English Translation. Although I've just started seeking professional certification (I switched to my current major after three years in biotech), I've worked with translation for a while and have been fluent in English for as long as I can remember. My work so far has been informal - I've translated abstracts for scientific papers, proofread articles from grad students, created language mods for games - and I'm eager to build up my professional portfolio.
I was a teacher of EFL for nearly 20 years, for some time I taught and was a freelance translator simultaneously. Then I decided to make a career move and became a full-time translator in 2012. In 2013 I was hired by a Federal University in Brazil (actually, I took the single place available in a two-phase selection process) as a translator & interpreter. I still do freelance translations, though.
In 2007-07 I moved to China and worked in an international business company in Beijing, but I traveled quite frequently to Shanghai; Guangzhou and Shenzhen (Southeast Mainland China) and Hong Kong. It was a great experience by all means.
Easy to work with, eager to learn, many abilities up my sleeve that are not necessarily comprised of my duties such as: painting, film scoring, fictional and poetical writing, acting, dubbing, singing, amongst others. Willing to work late and hard to deliver before my due dates.
FLUENT IN ENGLISH, PORTUGUESE AND SPANISH
