Having worked in several different industries in the past 10 years, acquiring knowledge of several areas of technical expertise, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, CNC programming, and general maintenance work in several countries, I now invest the knowledge I gained into translation. Over the years, as I have developed my working competence in English, I have found myself in the role of translator within companies where I was called upon to translate documents, files and even entire computer programs. My experience in the various industries in which I have worked, in both English and Portuguese, provide me with the knowledge I need to carry out technical translations to a high degree of accuracy, ensuring the quality and precision is as high as possible.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I have been translating technical, business and private contents from English to Portuguese for more than 10 years. Throughout this time, I have translated and proofread documents such as, hospital equipment catalog, questionnaire, medical forms, surveys, restaurant menus, letters, product list, prenuptial agreement, nautical manual, children and adult apps, casino games, real state software among other documents. I am a 42-year old native Portuguese speaker, who grew, studied and, nowadays, works in Portugal (in the city with the famous hovering umbrella installation, by the way). I am a trained translator with a diploma in English and Portuguese languages and translation post-graduate studies.
