Hey, there! My name’s Nox and I’m a native level speaker in both English and Portuguese. I’ve worked for 4 years for the translation company I’m currently at. I specialise in both Eng-Port and Port-Eng pairs, and, as a poet, I can transcreate to meet whatever linguistic needs my clients have. Although I'm fairly new to the Smartcat self advertisement, and some things are still missing from my profile, rest assured I'm more than capable and proficient in both English and Portuguese, as I'm very attentive to details. With my previous experience and expertise, I believe I can hit the ground running and start actively contributing to your business as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss my application further.

Greetings from greenish Belarus (Yes, a Brazilian in Belarus!)! My name is Geraldo, a handsome (according to my wife), smart and experienced Brazilian translator (see attached CV), living and working in Minsk (!, yes, Minsk!), and, of course, looking to collaborate with you. Kindly take a look at my CV, think about all the good jazz bands I can suggest you to listen to when the tight deadlines are choking us, and let me know about your needs. Together, I'm pretty sure we can establish a very positive and constructive professional partnership. Kind regards, Geraldo Teixeira Jr

I'm a native Portuguese translator, on the market for over 6 years. I've worked with several known companies such as Panasonic, IQ Options and TetraPak, which allowed me to solidify myself as an experienced translator on a few areas of interest. I have a communication degree, that allowed me to not only develop my writing skills, but also propelled me to gather my own network of satisfied clients. However, I'm always looking for more! So I'll be waiting for your invitation! I'll be available to perform a small test if you wish to check out my skills beforehand. Stay safe and have a good day! Pedro

I started translating in 2005 when I was a teenager. I had a Brazilian forum about a Korean singer and most of the news we've got were in English. I translated all the English news we could find into Portuguese so our friends and visitors could read too. In 2009 I got into Languages course in college, thinking in becoming a literary translator since I really love to read. I translated short stories, ended up learning how to subtitle, all to family and friends. Late in 2015, I started my specialization in English - Portuguese translation where I've learned a lot about this amazing career. In 2016 I got my first paid jobs in translation and I've joined Babelcube, Coursera, and TedTalks to improve my skills. Today, I translate more technical texts than literature. But I can't say it isn't amazing. I've learned so many new things, and so much about myself in the process that I must say it is a win-win situation.
