I am native Portuguese with excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills and I have almost as great skills in English. My brain is definitely bilingual. I have been a freelance Professional Translator since 2013, specializing in Business, Marketing and Social Sciences. However, I have also performed successful translations in many other different fields, such as website and app contents, legal contracts, technical manuals, automotive systems, coaching materials, among others. I use SDL Trados 2011, but I always check my translations, sentence by sentence, for grammar, meaning and vocabulary use - no automatic translations! My passion lies in translation, entrepreneurship and helping people. After studying business administration at London Metropolitan University, I began my career working in finance, energy and telecommunications in Maputo, Mozambique. In 2013, I founded Navitas Group Lda, a company that aimed to disrupt the stagnant translation market in Mozambique. Mainly, I want to focus on using translation to facilitate communication between individuals and companies, as well as participating in entrepreneurial endeavors that catalyze socio-economic development.
