I have 5-year experience in translation of technical subjects (Construction, Metallurgy, Ore Dressing, Mining) texts. Also, I have translated texts on the subject of oil and gas, contracts, HSE, Electricity, IT.

I studied Russian, English and German at Pskov State University and Pskov Volny University. I am qualified as a professional interpreter for these three languages. I have been working as interpreter and translator since 2006 for humanitarian, economic and construction projects in Pskov and abroad - mostly, in Finland, Germany and Singapore.

I have been working in a Foreign Languages field for more than 10 years with Medical Translation specialization for the last 1.5 years. Can describe myself as a person, skilled at communicating complex information in a simple manner. I am highly fluent and literate in my mother tongues (Russian and Ukrainian) and have an excellent vocabulary.

I am translator with professional technical background, fire safety specialist (En-Ru). Specialization: safety, industry, oil and gas engineering.

I have been doing translations since 2006. I'm also running a translation agency, however that's a separate business, and you can be sure that all translations at smartcat are done by me personally. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.
