I'm a licensed translator from French, English, Spanish and Italian languages. I have a Ph.D degree in linguistics for researching short French science-popular movies, so I have a large experience in movie translation that I like very much. Besides, I took a course of advanced training in hospitality in French after which I worked in a French company as animator. Also, I underwent training in an aviation agency for a year where I worked as a translator then. Always learning, always hardworking.

I received my Master's degree after graduating from Russian Military University in 2009. I studied at the faculty of translation and interpretation studies. I have over 15 years of experience in the translation industry, including 5 practicing law, 5 as a freelance translator in IT-company, and 10 years as a technical translator in a well-known oil&gas company. I'm proficient with CAT-Tools and different CRMs, including skills in content localization, and project management. Native Russian and fluent English, and Finnish. I live in St. Petersburg for half a year, and half a year i live in Finland.

I am a freelance translator (looking for single projects or temporary/permanent contracts) specializing mostly in medical devices, health care, computer/tabletop games, IT, telecom, QA and risk analysis. I'm a versatile person so there are lots of other things I'm interested in. I work in Trados, SmartCat, Phrase, MemoQ, Wordfast, Xtm cloud, OmegaT, Passolo, Xbench, Aegisub and Subtitle Edit, and I can master any other tool as well. In addition to translation, I can create and manage termbases and translation memories, localize software, perform localisation testing, create and translate subtitles, teach people how to use CAT, and help to solve technical issues of CAT. I had about 10 years of experience as a tech support specialist and a tester/QA, so I'm good at many of IT topics. I had an experience of writing and translating manuals and other texts, and testing software localization. I have a high level of literacy and a good sense of style in Russian.

I'm a physician by education specialized in nephrology with experience in translation of medical articles. For more than 3 years I've been working in Big Pharma with experience in translation of wide range of regulatory and clinical documents (periodic safety reports, clinical trials protocols and reports, PSMF, etc.). Thus I have profound knowledge in all basic terms within pharmaceutical industry, both in English (regulated by EMA / FDA) and in Russian (regulated by Ministry of Health / Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of Russian Federation).
