I am a professional translator/interpreter from Yekaterinburg, Russia. Free lance experience since 1998 (see details in my CV attached hereto). I mainly work in the field of industry, especially metallurgy, as our region has been developing since the 18th century around metal extraction and metal work. After being trained as a translator at university, I spent several years preparing students for Cambridge examinations (such as IELTS, FCE and CAE). At the same time, I was frequently asked to translate medical and technical texts and received positive feedback, which made me consider taking more translations. I enjoy the process of translation as it demands both creativity and precision, and it is also a perfect opportunity to learn more about this world (I am particularly fascinated with biotechnology and medicine, which is why I prefer to work with research articles, clinical studies, etc).

I studied at the Southern Ural State Universiity of Chelyabinsk and I have two diplomas as a professional translator. Since September 2015 I live in Germany and study Master Deutsch als Fremdsprache. I also worked as an english and german teacher in a language camp.
