I'm a native speaker of Russian and Ukrainian. I have a TOEFL IBT score of 119 out of 120 and an IELTS score of 8,5 out of 9. I've been accredited with a 'native-like' level of English according to the EU classification after my IELTS test. I have an MA in English language and Translation. I lived, studied and worked in the USA. I'm experienced in translating texts of marketing, literary, general, legal, IT and popular science areas. Experienced in using a CAT tool - SmartCat. Have experience in the IT industry - 15 months of full-time work.

I am looking for a part-time/full-time job in the sphere of translation or game localization. Preferable genres in which I have solid knowledge and experience are: shooters, RPGs, simulators. I've been doing translations from/to English since 2006. For 1 year I've translated market reviews and news in a mass media agency. Later on I've worked at the seaport for 4 years, where I was involved in the project of a container terminal. During this period I got an experience in translation of technical texts (specifications), contracts, correspondence. Apart of that, I've also an experience of working in a hotel business. As a freelance translator I've done translations on financial and energy topics, as well as press releases.

I am an MD currently working as a Human Physiology lecturer for English-speaking students in Russia. I've also finished a 2-year residency and a 3-year fellowship in Oncology. In the latter I've been participating in fundamental research studies (and working with literature databases a lot). My experience in translation specifically is slighly more than 1 year, but I am willing to further develop my skill in this area. I feel familiar enough with biostatistics and able to correctly translate specific terms.
