Good day! My name is Oksana! I've graduated from the University of Bulgaria. I've been living in Bulgaria for more than five years. Here I've gained experience in different fields of translation. Thus, I've worked with legal, medical texts, diplomas, advertisements, etc. Moreover, I've passed the IETLS exam to confirm my advanced level of English. My mother tongue is Russian. My speciality is the translation from English into Bulgarian and Russian and vice versa. For me, it is of high importance to meet deadlines and to do high-quality translations.

I am a freelance translator. I translate such themes as technic, legal, marketing, automotive, beauty, sport, tourism. I took a part in such projects as translation documents for Olympic games 2014, translation instructions for Ford, Hyundai, Renault, for Samsung and other major companies. Russian bachelor in Philology graduated from Hight School of Economics in Moscow, I am living in Prague and studying a French Philology (Language, Literature and Culture) at Charles University. My language competences are: Russian C2 English B2-C1 French B2-C1 Czech B2-C1

I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation. Since 2017, translation has become the main activity for me. In this work I always try to achieve a meaningful result. Machine translation is mostly not used, although occasionally I resort to it, if the subject allows. I intensively use the CAT-system tools: translation memory, glossaries, concordance search. In the search for translations of terms I use all available means taking into account the context. I can aloso translate into another direction (English) but it's a torture for me because I'm not native in it.
