I am a professional translator and interpreter in the following language pairs: English - Chinese; Chinese - Russian and English - Russian. I have been working in this field for almost 22 years, i.e. as an in-house translator in such a distinguished company as HUAWEI Technologies and some others and also as a freelancer. I am familiar to main business processes including management, ISO certification, investment and start-up projects management from the stage of scope study and pre-feasibility study to the stage of Due Diligence and project delivery; procurement and supply chain activities; HR management; marketing and sales - all because I also have got an experience of working as an HR manager, SCD manager, the Head of commercial department and Assistant to CEO. That's why I am able to provide high quality of my translation both in linguistic and professional accuracy.

WHO I AM: Bilingual since birth I have always had an immence interest in two things: Music and Languages. Throughout my life i had many opportunities and demands to perform translation tasks on a personal and a professional level as well as privatly teaching languages. My translation experience spanns from simple e-meil and daily communications translations to academic translations. While bieng a professional composer i have gained great skill of holding myself to the deadline and demanding the highest standard of work. I am resoursful and an exceptionally quick learner, so no job would be too tough. MY LANGUAGES: Native: English, Russian. Aquired: Swedish (fluent), German (working proficiency), Finnish (working proficiency). WHAT I DO (APART FROM TRANSLATIONS): Proofreading and editing of any written work in English (including academic works). Adaptation to UK-English (native). Script proofreading and editing and fortmating (English only!).

Being a professional translator, during employment as professor of English and post-graduate studies between 1999 and 2015, did various translations on a free-lance basis; provided prompt and accurate written translations of procedures, methods, reports, memos, letters, manuals, training materials and other documents; performed interpretation as needed for both formal and informal meetings, training programs, and presentations; edited and formatted both English and Russian texts; reviewed and evaluated work done by other translators and interpreters.

Extensive experience in: – technical literature translation (general technology, production equipment, transport, communications equipment and systems; IT technologies and systems: measuring and computing equipment; medical translations – therapy, diagnostics, pharmacology, medical equipment) etc. from Russian into English and from English into Russian; – developing technical documentation (user and service guides, instruction booklets, user interfaces etc., incl. in accordance with international methods and standards); – writing articles, essays, advertising texts, reviews, presentations, participating in conferences and shows. Skills and capabilities: Windows and Mac office software skills, some experience in software development environments. Experience with Adobe InDesign page setting, document and publication creation (guides, catalogs, posters, leaflets), digital image (drawings, diagrams etc.) editing and retouching in Adobe Photoshop.

I studied the rules of translation of specialized technical terms in the field of radiophysics, physics, energy etc. Translated (from English into Russian and Ukrainian and vice versa) of scientific and technical literature, articles, abstracts, instructions and other documentation in the field of energy, mining and nuclear industry, physics, chemistry, mechanics, construction, quality systems .... including ISO IAEA.
