WHO I AM: Bilingual since birth I have always had an immence interest in two things: Music and Languages. Throughout my life i had many opportunities and demands to perform translation tasks on a personal and a professional level as well as privatly teaching languages. My translation experience spanns from simple e-meil and daily communications translations to academic translations. While bieng a professional composer i have gained great skill of holding myself to the deadline and demanding the highest standard of work. I am resoursful and an exceptionally quick learner, so no job would be too tough. MY LANGUAGES: Native: English, Russian. Aquired: Swedish (fluent), German (working proficiency), Finnish (working proficiency). WHAT I DO (APART FROM TRANSLATIONS): Proofreading and editing of any written work in English (including academic works). Adaptation to UK-English (native). Script proofreading and editing and fortmating (English only!).

I am currently a 2nd year RANEPA University student. I know terminology of business english and at the time I study english in law sphere. My part time job is interpreter. As free time is still taking the most part of my day schedule, it would be interesting for me to accomplish additional tasks for a reward.

My translation career encompasses diverse areas, from movie industry (translating for Hollywood film stars (Jon Voight, Sammi Davis) to translating for roughnecks on drilling rigs in Siberia. This hands-on experience in various occupations, combined with technical background in survey & mapping, allows me to produce accurate, precise translations of even the most complicated texts. I have been working as a freelance translator since 2006, with more than 6 million words translated to date. I first started my translation career in mid 1980-ies with a few odd translation / interpretation jobs of a few months each. I then went on to work as a staff translator for the first Soviet-US JV White Nights in 1990 and continued to pursue this career with several other JVs and US companies until 2006, when I became a full-time freelance translator. Besides working as a translator during that period, I also held several other positions in procurement, logistics and administration at these companies, which subsequently proved to be a valuable source of knowledge for my work as an independent translator after 2006.

I have diploma: Finances and credit. In early 2019 I will get diploma of State and municipal management. I have experience in translating technical texts on engineering, computer and tabletop games, as well as catalogs, guides and instructions for use of equipment, translation of texts in management. Valid Steam translator. I adore working with art, literature, games and other directions..

I translate English into Greek and into Russian in which I am fully bilingual. I, also, proofread texts in these languages and create subtitles. Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between Greek and Russian is also a service I provide. My specialisms include business, accounting IFRS, legal, HR management, corporate governance, telecommunications, television production, agriculture (wines, olive oil, tobacco and many other products), history and philosophy. Use Trados 2021. MA with Distinction in Modern Greek language and literature and Russian language and literature of Russia's TOP2 St. Petersburg University.
