I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation. Since 2017, translation has become the main activity for me. In this work I always try to achieve a meaningful result. Machine translation is mostly not used, although occasionally I resort to it, if the subject allows. I intensively use the CAT-system tools: translation memory, glossaries, concordance search. In the search for translations of terms I use all available means taking into account the context. I can aloso translate into another direction (English) but it's a torture for me because I'm not native in it.

I am a dedicated professional translator from English & Italian to Belarusian & Russian, with 19+ years of experience and thousands of words translated. Specializing in localizing products for the IT industry, I translate string sources, landing pages, privacy policies, terms of service. I have been doing continuous localization projects of everything Google: Chrome, Assistant, Drive, Photos, Maps, YouTube, Gmail, News, Play, Meet, Calendar, Translate… I have also worked on localization projects for Microsoft products: Edge, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, Excel, ToDo, Microsoft Launcher… Likewise, I have done projects for Wargaming (World of Tanks and World of Worships), MailRu Group, Xiaomi, MAPS.ME, Happymagenta UAB, Playson, Esim.me, Swoo App, just to name a few.
