I also think it is important to learn languages because it brings people closer allowing a better understanding between them and that is the reason why I like translating: it builds bridges. Mainly, my working experience has involved education working as English and Spanish teacher in schools and freelance. Finally, I would like to obtain working experience as a translator because I would love working in the videogames industry as a linguistic tester because gaming is one of my hobbies.

I have 31 years of experience teaching and tutoring all levels of Spanish. With a Master's Degree in the Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, VT, I consider myself to be a grammar expert, in addition to being fluent in the language. I had study abroad experiences in Mexico prior to living in Madrid during graduate school. In 2010 I spent the Winter-Spring semester traveling throughout Argentina and homeschooling my then 3rd grade son and 7th grade daughter. Also in 2010, I began a summer language immersion program, True Immersion, LLC, in Sevilla, Spain for American teens - which continues today. I am highly proficient in Italian - primarily self-taught - but have also studied at the Lorenzo de Medici and Centro Firenze language schools in Florence over the last 14 years.
