I am a translator currently living in Mexico City. I might not have too much professional experience, however, since the beginning of my education, I have tried to attend as many workshops, courses and forums regarding subjects such as legal, engineering, pharmaceutical, tourism and video game translation. Therefore, I possess a wide variety of knowledge regarding these topics. In addition to my bachelors in Translation and Gastronomy, I am a former student of Chemical Engineering.

Moreover, I have worked extensively in the field of subtitling movies, documentaries, TV series, programs ... etc from and into English. I enjoy translation for many reasons. I have always had an interest in foreign languages and cultures, so it is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to work with them. I also find the process of researching a subject to ensure a solid translation to be particularly satisfying, as well as investigating the expressive possibilities of my target language, an aspect of the translation process that is often overlooked and yet an important element of the quality of the final product. I have experience using tools such as Trados or Memsource, as well as the various reliable reference sources for each language (DIEC; Treccani; RAE; Τριανταφυλλίδη...). The type of translation that most attracts my attention is literary, although I have extensive demonstrable experience in the field of technical translation (recent projects being for the nautical and stone industry). Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy. My interest in language has led me to translation, in which I have worked these years having completed translations in areas as diverse as cooking, industry, sports betting, medicine, documentation, among others.

I consider myself a perfectionist who likes to do his job optimally and punctually. I am friendly, optimistic, and above all, a good partner in whom you can trust. I also enjoy multitasking and working as a team, as cooperation is essential for a company to thrive.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources.
