I am an English philologist whose biggest passions are languages and literature. My fields of expertise go from world's literatures to linguistics and language acquisition. Besides, I've furthered my expertise with an MA in Spanish as foreing language. I love learning about different cultures and traditions and trying to comprehend them so I can do better translations. Furthermore, as I love reading, I think that the best way to grasp an author's work is being able to read it in its own language. I also think it is important to learn languages because it brings people closer allowing a better understanding between them and that is the reason why I like translating: it builds bridges. Mainly, my working experience has involved education working as English and Spanish teacher in schools and freelance. I grew up speaking Spanish at home and English at school, learning to have full command of either language from a young age. With a background teaching English as a second and foreign language to Spanish and Japanese native speakers, I can take complex ideas and translate them without losing the meaning or concept behind the words and grasp the nuances of the language.
