Translation and interpretation are two skills that i developed while getting my degree. Also, I study them constantly to improve. I plan to pursue a master's degree in linguistics and a PHd in theoretical linguistics. From 1990 to 1995, I was involved in a Bible translation project for the Pemon tribe in Venezuela. At the beginning of 2012 I joined Editorial Renuevo, where I became a bilingual editor of books, which we published once a month, mostly in Spanish. Later our company committed to publishing each book in both Spanish and English versions. My skills include MS Word, creating macros in Word, Excel and Access, editing Spanish and English and translations from one to the other. I also assigned editing and translation projects to off-site workers and held weekly online meetings to keep us all sharp in our skills. I learned to program databases in Filemaker Pro, using them to help me stay in control of the department.

I have worked in-house as a PM and a translator both in Canada and in Argentina. I have been working with agencies around the world (China, US, Canada, France, etc.) for more than 15 years. As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. My interest in language and logic has led me to specialize also in modern fields such as software development translations, gaming localization, AI input/output editing, etc. After college I started learning Arabic language, also combined with my job as an editorial coordinator for institutionalized magazines belonging to professionals' associations of engineers and industrial chambers.

I've been working as a professional translator since 2015, when I finished my degree. After that, I completed two masters and I am currently carrying out my PdH research. I speak five languages, German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. I work as well as a foreign language teacher at college.
