After working for several NGOs in Latin America, he has worked for OxfamNovib in Central America, with El Taller’s education programme in Tunis, director of Citizen Diplomacy and CEO of Nexus in Colombia. Since 1999 he worked with Oxfam GB, first as country director for Colombia and as policy adviser in the Economic Justice team based in Oxford until 2014. He has lead the Regional and National campaigns for the GROW team in Oxfam International, and in 2014 he was the Director of Intermon's national programme in Bolivia. He is currently based in Colombia as an independent consultant. Constantino is active in the field of agro-ecology with campesinos and indigenous peoples in Latin America and the Caribbean.

I am an English philologist whose biggest passions are languages and literature. My fields of expertise go from world's literatures to linguistics and language acquisition. Besides, I've furthered my expertise with an MA in Spanish as foreing language. I love learning about different cultures and traditions and trying to comprehend them so I can do better translations. Furthermore, as I love reading, I think that the best way to grasp an author's work is being able to read it in its own language. I also think it is important to learn languages because it brings people closer allowing a better understanding between them and that is the reason why I like translating: it builds bridges. Mainly, my working experience has involved education working as English and Spanish teacher in schools and freelance. Apart from having a translation degree, I have studied philosophy at the university, which provides me with additional tools that allow me to understand texts in depth and, most importantly, find the most accurate translation for every term because, after all, what is translation but giving a thing the precise name designated by a culture for it?

I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I translate websites, contracts, business presentations, products descriptions, medical records etc ....
