Hello! My name is Vilma Hinkelammert. I´m a Costa Rican translator, a Spanish philologist and I´m studying for a Master´s Degree in linguistics. I've been working as a translator and interpreter for more than 25 years and I've acquired a lot of experience in various fields such as legal, engineering, information technology, power plants, oil&gas, etc. However, I'm far from resting on my laurels since I understand very well that the languages are dynamic and the world is constantly changing, so I'm in the constant pursuit of new skills and knowledge that'd help me to stay up-to-date and do my job in the most efficient and precise manner.

I am a qualified Spanish language specialist from Spain with 9 years of experience. I am a member of Asetrad and UniCo. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (2009) and a postgraduate degree in Spanish Proofreading, Copyediting and Language Consulting (2018). During my degree I spent one year in Geneva. After graduating, I spent two years in Paris, where I first worked as a project manager and later as a web content editor and translator while I started freelancing.
