In June 2022, I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of German Translation and Interpreting. I have been professionally providing translation services to many translation companies and offices for 1 year. I specialize in technical, legal and medical translations.

I have a B.B.A in Economics from Anadolu University and 18 years of experience as a translator, localizer and interpreter, including interpretation, proofreading, transcription, consultancy and business communications. After working in different industries for over 10 years, I've started working as a freelance translator seven years ago. I started my career in the translation and localization field working as a vendor translator for SDL plc. when I was at Boğaziçi University. During that time, I completed several projects and gained experience mostly in technical translation (automotive and manufacturing). In 2017, I started my first full-time job as a translation project manager and carried out project management and quality assurance tasks for almost a year. In 2018, I was hired by a software company, JotForm, as a full-time English-Turkish translator. For 1.5 years, I translated a wide variety of content including JotForm's website, landing pages, products, inspirational blog posts, and mobile app into Turkish, which helped me gain immense experience in software localization and marketing fields, and knowledge in HTML language. I have recently decided to continue my career as a freelancer. I am currently working with several language service providers and providing high-quality translation and localization services.

Working as localization specialist for major accounts in IT, marketing, ERP, technical and legal since 2015. Before being freelancer, I have worked in company which is exclusive SAP SE localization partner in Turkey. I took part in localization of corporate and legal texts as well as translation processes of the SAP SE systems. Aside from ERP, I have gained experience in IT, marketing and technical texts. During my career, I have also worked as a project manager for 9 months and managed projects for major companies from IT, marketing (mainly tourism and travel) and technical fields.

I am a passionate and experienced translator, who has a degree in French-English-Turkish translation and interpretation. I have also lived in Germany for 4 years and can translate from German to Turkish. I am working as a full-time translator at the Ministry of Justice in Turkey. I also work at the Turkish Standards Institution as a part-time language expert and translate EC and ISO standards into Turkish.
