I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.

Having studied in the departments of English Language Teaching & French Language and Literature at leading universities in Turkey, I have been working now for 9 years as a certified English & French translator in almost every field of translation.

I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. In June 2022, I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of German Translation and Interpreting. I have been professionally providing translation services to many translation companies and offices for 1 year. I specialize in technical, legal and medical translations.

I'm working as a freelance translator since 2007 and my main expertise areas are IT, technical, and video games. I also work on marketing, social sciences, educational materials, and questionnaires in general. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and native speaker of Turkish, so I mostly work on English-Turkish pair. I can usually respond to e-mails no later than half an hour, I'm very strict about deadlines and take urgent jobs during work hours.
