I was born in 1998 in İzmir. I am studying Translation and Interpreting at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. I am also doing a minor in psychology. In my education, I'm exposed to many different proffessions that will increase my translation competence and cultural understanding. I am able to use Cat tools. My greatest wish is to be a proffessional translator with high efficiency. After working in real estate and banking sectors, I decided to pursue my career as a full-time freelance translator. I provide translation, localisation and editing services in Turkish - English and vice versa with a daily output around 4,000 words. I am specialised in banking, finance, legal, foreign trade and marketing areas as well as logistics, IT, construction, technology and similar areas. I am capable of using Trados, Memsource, memoQ and Verifika CAT and QA tools other than Smartcat. I graduated from one of the most prominent language and literature departments of Turkey after which I started working as a professional translator and conference interpreter without any interruption till now. I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I also completed my M.A. in Comperative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, which contributed my academic and linguistic skills. Following that, I started my Phd at Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Yıldız Technical University in 2017.

I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education.
