I am a medical doctor for more than 15 years. I have published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals. Currently, I am working as a freelance translator. I am specialized in scientific article translation. I have completed several translation projects both English to Turkish and Turkish to English.

I took part in localization of corporate and legal texts as well as translation processes of the SAP SE systems. Aside from ERP, I have gained experience in IT, marketing and technical texts. During my career, I have also worked as a project manager for 9 months and managed projects for major companies from IT, marketing (mainly tourism and travel) and technical fields.

I am a native Turkish speaker and a certified translator/interpreter with over 10 years of experience in translation, interpreting and proofreading. I have studied and lived in English speaking countries for many years. I started working as a full-time sworn in-house translator in 2007 and worked continuously for the the same translation/localization agency for 10 years until March 2017. I have literally been involved in every aspect of translation and localization industry and had the chance to develop my skills and understanding in various fields of translation profession, notably technical, legal, business and marketing fields as a result of regular daily translation assignments (ranging from 2000 to 4000 words) over the last decade. I may not be a graduate of language and translation studies (my background includes Political Science and Sociology) but I firmly believe that what I lack in formal training I more than make up for with 10 years of daily on-the-job experience.

I am a passionate and experienced translator, who has a degree in French-English-Turkish translation and interpretation. I have also lived in Germany for 4 years and can translate from German to Turkish. I am working as a full-time translator at the Ministry of Justice in Turkey. I also work at the Turkish Standards Institution as a part-time language expert and translate EC and ISO standards into Turkish. I worked in the field of tourism as a salesman. I have done my internship in Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a translator. Currently, I am working as a full time certified translator and I also work in freelance translation projects. I am trying to improve myself in translating legal, trade and medical documents.

I'm a professional translator. I speak four languages. [Kurdish-Sorani native, Arabic-Native, Turkish, English Fluent (C1), Russian fluent (C1)].

I am Turkish and Azerbaijani citizen, and speaking both languages as mother tongue. I have studied an English medium university and hence, I speak English fluently. Besides, I worked in Russia and learnt Russian language also.
