I have been doing translations since 2006. I'm also running a translation agency, however that's a separate business, and you can be sure that all translations at smartcat are done by me personally. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). During that time, I completed several projects and gained experience mostly in technical translation (automotive and manufacturing). In 2017, I started my first full-time job as a translation project manager and carried out project management and quality assurance tasks for almost a year. In 2018, I was hired by a software company, JotForm, as a full-time English-Turkish translator. For 1.5 years, I translated a wide variety of content including JotForm's website, landing pages, products, inspirational blog posts, and mobile app into Turkish, which helped me gain immense experience in software localization and marketing fields, and knowledge in HTML language. I have recently decided to continue my career as a freelancer. I am currently working with several language service providers and providing high-quality translation and localization services.

I was born in 1998 in İzmir. I am studying Translation and Interpreting at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. I am also doing a minor in psychology.
