I am currently studying an MA in translation studies on a part-time basis (2021-2023), having completed an undergraduate degree in European Studies with German and Spanish over the previous four years. I've been freelance translating while completing my bachelors in Comparative Literature, alongside working on my own translation projects. I am a English & German native speaker with a great passion for language. Since 2014 I have been working as English to German freelance translator. In addition to that I have also gained valuable in-house experience by working at established and well-known translation agencies occupying roles as translation checker and proof-reader as well as project manager and translator.

My name is Allie Shakked Zur and I'm an educator, writer and an experienced translator currently living in Tel Aviv. Hebrew and English are both my native tongues and I have a background in hebrew linguistics and in education as well as sports and physiology. I do translation, proofreading and transcription work in both languages in both directions.
