Professional translator

I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian. I've studied Icelandic and am familiar with Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese. I have been dealing with several different professions so far. At the beginning I worked as a teacher at Primary School. Then I worked for a company in whcih I was responsible for hte following issues: - -Making payrolls. - entering invoices in the books, - drawing up and sending documents and e-documents to governmental offices, - translations (written and oral) and interpreting (during business meetings).

Year later I began to work for my present job where I mainly have similar duties as in my previous job but, apart from them, I had to master some more: - maintaining good business relations with current business partners, - accepting and fulfiling purchase orders, - coordinating the whole process from the order to the shipment of a given product, - coordinating shipments, - finding new business partners worldwide, - keeping export documents, - participation in international trade fairs.

I have been translating professionally since 2013. My native languages are Ukrainian and Russian. I speak German, English and Polish fluently. For the past six years, I have been working and studying in Austria and Poland, and that has helped me to master my German and Polish, respectively. I have experience translating texts with wide range of subjects, including, but not limited to, legal, technical, political and creative texts.

My name is Magda and I have been a translator since 2006. I graduated applied linguistics with specialization in English and German and a postgraduate school of legal translation. I obtained also qualifications in audio-visual translation and translated 9 documentaries. I specialize in the fields of law, business, marketing, medicine and humanities.

I've been born to German-speaking Austrian parents but was raised in English-speaking Canada. Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. Since 2000, when I started my translator's career, I've managed to translate millions of words in a great range of fields, from fiction to medicine.

I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.
