I am a recent graduate living in Germany. I enjoy translating on the side both as a hobby as well as a steady source of income. I consider Russian, English and French as my mother tongues. Hello! My name is Dr. April Stines and I am a seasoned Russian-English & German-English translator/proofreader. I've been working in the translation industry for many years. My specialization is in academic texts, legal documents and literature, but I cover many areas of translation: from blockchain to video games. A little about myself. I'm from the US, but now reside in Riga, Latvia and have a PhD in Slavic & East European Studies.

I am a freelance translator and electromechanical engineer with electrical engineering degree. Although I am native in English, I consider Russian to be my native language as well, since I am fluent in both of them.
