Hello! My name is Dr. April Stines and I am a seasoned Russian-English & German-English translator/proofreader. I've been working in the translation industry for many years. My specialization is in academic texts, legal documents and literature, but I cover many areas of translation: from blockchain to video games. A little about myself. I'm from the US, but now reside in Riga, Latvia and have a PhD in Slavic & East European Studies.

I am an extremely responsible person and possess almost 5 years' experience in the world of translation, during which I have gained excellent mastery of texts and topics in many areas. Although I am native in English, I consider Russian to be my native language as well, since I am fluent in both of them. I received my B.A. in Russian from Arizona State University in 2014, where I graduated with the university's second-highest distinction (magna cum laude).
