WHO I AM: Bilingual since birth I have always had an immence interest in two things: Music and Languages. I received my B.A. in Russian from Arizona State University in 2014, where I graduated with the university's second-highest distinction (magna cum laude). In addition, I have extensive experience in translation, editing, and proofreading in a variety of fields. However, my main work areas include PR, marketing, IT, and other business materials.

Originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan (Russian speaking), I have lived in the United States since 1996. I graduated high school in Midland, Texas, then received my first bachelors degree from Central Texas College, majoring in Computer Science. After several years, I went back to school to major in International Studies at the University of California in San Diego. Passionate for languages and cultural learning, I have lived and studied in Morelia, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain. I have worked as a freelance translator and localization expert since 2009 and have great knowledge in mobile game and app localization. Other projects throughout the years have included fiction, history and biography books, articles, and legal documents. I translate Russian to English myself and run a team of ten other translators, who work in most popular European and Asian languages. Every member of the team is a native speaker of the language he/she works in.

I have had experience in translating legal/medical/business documents. I am currently translating a fiction novel in my spare time. I have also had experience in teaching both languages for over four years. As a result, I understand the grammar structures of both languages well.
