I am a freelance translator looking for career opportunities. In the university, I have passed numerous practical translation courses: Literary translation (French-Estonian, English-Estonian) and Audio-visual Translation/Subtitling. I know how to use CAT tools (Matecat, Smartcat, Memsource) and own Fluency Now, Fluency Transcription, and PDF Escape licences. Currently, I work in 4 translation platforms. My work is always carefully reviewed and done on time, as I am very organized, motivated and punctual.
I have always been passionate about languages and translating. In my opinion, translating is a fascinating field!
I have studied several languages at university but specialized in English and French.
In addition to that, living and working in different countries and continuous self-development have raised my linguistic competences to a very high level.
I have extensive work experience in translating and writing in different languages. I have been active as a translator since 2008 and have worked with various texts from marketing to user manuals. I have also experience as a freelance journalist and editor.
I am a creative person who is well-organized and punctual.
When it comes to translating, quality is of utmost importance. The end result has to be beautiful, grammatically correct and sound natural.

I have worked as a freelance translator-subtitler since 2007, translating technical texts (legal, medical, websites, articles, etc.) and a countless number of movies, documentaries and TV series. I am flexible, reliable and easy to work with. I can work fast without compromising the quality of my work - I always double, triple and quadruple check finished work, I always do a thorough research to make sure all the facts are correct, and I never forget spell-check. I aim for perfection, no matter how small or big the job, because I take pride in what I do. I dedicate all my energy and attention to a project to ensure it meets the deadline and satisfies the customer.
I am always open to long-term partnerships and offers. I don't currently own any CAT tools, but I do have experience with SDLX 2007, SDL Trados Studio 2009, Xliff Translator and MemoQ. Even if I am unfamiliar with a specific software it takes me little time to master it.
Originally from Estonia, I spent the last three years studying Business Logistics and Transport Management at the University of Greenwich, London. I am an active and outgoing person willing to communicate with customers and providing them with accurate information. At the university and at a workplace, I constantly had to juggle between the languages, learning to integrate different cultures and views. I consider this ability to adapt as my main strength.
I want to share my knowledge with other people. I enjoy providing an excellent service to the customers. I have an eye for small details and it helps me to solve all questions faster and accurately. I see myself as a multitasker who is good at optimising and rationalising, being good with numbers but also with people. E
At the moment, I am providing translation & edition services to different business and private clients. One of my biggest clients is the Nickelodeon channel.
I've been a successful freelance English-Estonian translator/editor since 2007. I mainly work with Marketing, IT, Technical, and European Union texts, though I often broaden my horizons outside those areas as well. In addition to technical texts, I've also translated several books and won an Estonian translation award.
I like to keep up with current language trends by attending relevant in-service training programs and conferences whenever my schedule allows it. Over the years, several CAT-tools (mainly Trados and memoQ, though I'm proficient with many others) have helped me provide consistent and flawless results. Clients and colleagues describe my work as always on time, accurate, and carried out according to your instructions.
