I am a self-employed translator from English into Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian languages. I specialize in IT, life sciences, and technical translations and have more than 15 years of experience. My professional experience, besides freelancing, was acquired in the largest translation company in Croatia, where I was employed for 7 years on the position of a senior translator and editor. A couple of years ago I founded my own company and have already gained trust from many Croatian companies and some renowned global language service providers. Besides translations, I worked in ICT industry for 5 years and my technical skills are highly regarded by my clients. I am also an advanced user of Trados Studio, MemoQ, Across, Wordfast, and other CAT and QA tools.

Certified court translator and interpreter for English, Turkish, Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian with over 10 years of work experience in translation, proofreading, editing, transcription etc. Over the years acquired extensive knowledge of legal, business, marketing, and other terminology.

I am a native Croatian speaker with a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Design, currently living in Spain. Apart from actively using English language during my entire education, my fluency has further improved while residing and working in England and Canada. I have learned Spanish during my travels to Mexico, Central and South America and, further on, by taking Spanish classes for 2 years while living and working in Barcelona.

I have been working as translator since the graduation from University for foreign languages where I studied English, Italian and German language. My work as interpreter and translator is based on work in retail, marketing, law firm, NGO on protection for human rights. In different areas of my work I gained expertise in different sectors such as economics, finance, law and marketing. However, other areas of work are more than familiar to me.
