I am a native French speaker with 25 years of experience in the field of translation. I specialize in creative translations also known as transcreations, helping global companies translate their brand's look & feel for French-speaking audiences. Over the years, I have had to sink my teeth into many complex and unfamiliar subjects, acquiring deep knowledge and expertise in fields as diverse as construction, CPG, nutrition, cosmetics, fashion & textiles, hospitality, toys, baby lifestyle, digital marketing, fintech, etc.

I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

I graduated with a Master's degree in translation and I am currently a freelance translator. I offer translation, proofreading and transcription services. I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).

I'm a 29 years old French girl who first worked in Education, then decided to change and study Tourism. After 2 years as a Tour Guide in Portugal, working daily in English, French and basic Portuguese, I'm back in France.
