I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. I am an experienced Russian and Romanian translator/proofreader/transcriber with a strong focus on the tourism and hospitality industries. I have always had a keen interest in languages and I have successfully worked with several language service providers on various translation projects that demanded attention to details and working around tight deadlines.

I am fascinated by foreign languages, linguistics, semiotics and I am currently working as a translator coordinator in the field of medical imaging.

After working for several years for different translation companies, as secondary job, offering translations services from English into Romanian, as well as from Romanian into English, mainly technical documents, I decided to offer my services as a freelance translator in Smartcat, as well. Some of the major companies for which I translated different types of documents I can name Kraft Jacobs Suchard, GlaxoSmithKline, Dexion, Kärcher, among sporadic jobs for Romanian companies. You will not be able to find any samples of my work, other than the standard Smartcat sample document, since I have never asked acceptance from my customers to use parts of the translated documents for personal purposes. However, if you consider this a prerequisite for a future collaboration, I would be glad to offer you a free of charge translation of a page from a document of your choice. Romanian is my mother tongue and I am a Certified Translator with over 10 years experience and strong knowledge of terms, grammar and spelling. You can expect from me 100% human - high quality - fast - always double checked and delivered on time translations. I have a degree in Law and International Relations and a strong passion for writing. I create and translate content on various subjects, especially in the fields of business, law, finance, tourism, lifestyle and fashion. I have experience working in advertising and with creative content. I also offer transcription (audio/ video) and proofreading services. I speak fluently English, Romanian and Spanish. I have experience using CAT Tools (SDL, MemoQ, OmegaT, Wordfast) and I am currently available to take on new projects.
