To refer to my educational background, I completed my BSc and MSc studies in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Sakarya University, Turkey, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. I was awarded a scholarship by Turkish Government to study PhD abroad in July 2007. After taking English course in Brighton, UK, and getting the sufficient IELTS score, I started to study PhD in the end of January 2008 in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester in the UK completing with a distinguished thesis in October 2012. I started my career in the translation and localization field working as a vendor translator for SDL plc. when I was at Boğaziçi University. During that time, I completed several projects and gained experience mostly in technical translation (automotive and manufacturing). In 2017, I started my first full-time job as a translation project manager and carried out project management and quality assurance tasks for almost a year. In 2018, I was hired by a software company, JotForm, as a full-time English-Turkish translator.
