I'm graduated in translation and interpreting (Russian-Bulgarian and Turkish) at university.

As someone with a diverse educational background and having worked in different areas, I have managed to employ my various skill and know-how to translation/editing/review processes. My bilingual education since elementary school, different areas (applied sciences, economics, marketing) of expertise and mostly my passion for anything related to technology has proven very useful, and humbly, distinguishing even. My journey through technology includes software development, hardware enthusiasm, testing bleeding edge features and of course a passion for gaming. Having studied in the departments of English Language Teaching & French Language and Literature at leading universities in Turkey, I have been working now for 9 years as a certified English & French translator in almost every field of translation.

I have been translating documents since 2007 for my permanent job as an educational consultant. And for the last 3 years i started to do it professionally. After working in real estate and banking sectors, I decided to pursue my career as a full-time freelance translator. I provide translation, localisation and editing services in Turkish - English and vice versa with a daily output around 4,000 words. I am Turkish and Azerbaijani citizen, and speaking both languages as mother tongue. I have studied an English medium university and hence, I speak English fluently. Besides, I worked in Russia and learnt Russian language also.

I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education. I also translate contents for two magazines in Turkey, Düşünbil and Libido, and a translation newspaper, which can be found on www.ceviriyoruz.org website.
