İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi'nde İngilizce Mütercim-Tercümanlık bölümünde okuyorum. Medikal, teknik, pazarlama, yerelleştirmenin yanısıra kültür, sanat, edebiyat çevirisine de ilgi duyuyorum. I was born in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. During my high school years, I studied English and Arabic for four years. I started to learn Korean language two years before my high school graduation. Now I'm attending to 29 Mayıs University, Interpretation and Translation department in which I found a chance to take classes about Introduction to Translation, Translation-Oriented Text Analysis, Linguistics, Translation Technologies, Interpreting practices, Intercultural Communication Skills, Turkish for Translators, Academic Reading/Writing, Contemporary World Literature, Contemporary World Drama, World History and Arabic. I’m quite interested in literature.

I like translating texts from different kind of domains such as medical, technical, literature, marketing and localization.

I have been working with many national and international translation offices on Free Lance Basis particularly in Engineering, Marketing and Business Issues particularly experienced in Contracts, Tender Documents, Marketing Documents (Such as Avon, Hilton websites, bulletins and training documents), Hazardous Materials & Emergency Response Training Files for Ministry of Defense, and also Medical Documents like MSDS, various certificates for medical devices, various types of catheter manuals and some Mechanical Engineering issues such as manuals of some Pumps, Motors, Machines and on many other issues both for translation and proofreading. For editing, I performed many translation check projects for websites of international customers such as Avon, Hilton etc.

I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education. I am a localization professional. I've worked with major accounts for 7 years. I set out towards Trakya University for my education on Translation and Interpretation. Taking an active role in the efforts of Trakya University Translation Club (TÜÇEV) and The Union of Translation Students (TÜÇEB), I was graduated in 2012.
