My name is Yuliya Pylypenko. My native languages are Russian and Ukrainian. I have a University Degree in Translation and Interpreting of English into Russian and Ukrainian. I have been working as a professional translator since 1999. I took part in EU Tacis project, World Bank project implemented in our region and DFID project of UK government implemented here in Ukraine. I worked as a full-time banking translator for 10 years and obtained valuable experience in translation of all kinds of financial statements and reports. I also translated various technical and engineering documents, contracts and agreements, bidding documents, content for the bank website, advertising, fashion and retail websites. I have been a professional translator for over ten years of my life, and am very familiar with different wordings and vocabulary. I am a bilingual Ukrainian-Russian speaker with a long translator/teaching career.

I am a freelance translator (looking for single projects or temporary/permanent contracts) specializing mostly in medical devices, health care, computer/tabletop games, IT, telecom, QA and risk analysis. I'm a versatile person so there are lots of other things I'm interested in. I work in Trados, SmartCat, Phrase, MemoQ, Wordfast, Xtm cloud, OmegaT, Passolo, Xbench, Aegisub and Subtitle Edit, and I can master any other tool as well.
