My name is Magda and I have been a translator since 2006. I graduated applied linguistics with specialization in English and German and a postgraduate school of legal translation. I obtained also qualifications in audio-visual translation and translated 9 documentaries. I specialize in the fields of law, business, marketing, medicine and humanities.

I have experience mainly in general, business and medical (dentistry) translation.

I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian. I've studied Icelandic and am familiar with Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese. Localization/CAT tools: starting from routine tasks such as bilingual files prep and post-processing and ending with deployment of custom-tailored translation memory servers using SVN or GIT technologies. I am a native Polish speaker with years of experience with English. I've been in touch with English language ever since I can remember, which led to me gaining CAE Cambridge Advanced English certificate in february 2021. To this day, I'm using both Polish and English on a daily basis.
