I started volunteering as a freelance interpreter back in 2013, and finally got some work experience 2 years later. I've been doing freelance and privately contracted work for about two and a half years now. I have an advanced level fluency in Slovak, though I speak Czech and Russian very well also. The languages I've worked with most are Slovak and Czech, but because I'm in Moscow, I'm doing a lot of Russian right now. I prefer translating from other languages into English, but I'm willing to work either way.

I am a full-time freelance translator and interpreter based in Bratislava specializing in marketing and PR translation.

I have lived in Norway, Austria and Slovakia for several years, worked on freelance basis as a teacher or translator. In my current work as public policy manager I often do translations related to law, politics and various sectors of economy, paying close attention to the detail and meaning.

10+ years of daily interaction with native speakers; 10+ years of regular interpretation / translation / proofreading from English to Slovak / Czech and vice versa.

BA (Hons) English Language and Literature. Over 17 years experience in translation/interpreting. Medical, pharmaceutical, legal, finance, health, public services including Police, Social Services and education.
